My uncle has stopped using meth about 7 months. Then his Brain fixed?
He was depressed to go through Crude divorce so he turned to drugs; Meth be exact. He was aboard a coulple months until my father spoke from him. But now I am worried that his permanent Brain Damage. Is it? And what can we do to help restore some of it? Please and thank you.
Depends on severity, it is. If he became schizophrenic, which is a common effect of using long Meth-term, then probably not. Meth kills many brain cells and those who will never return. If his brain damage is simply a loss of cognitive abilities, then it can re-learn how to perform these tasks.
